Hi reader! It’s Eljon, and before we continue, I want to welcome you to my blog, Explore to Thrive. Here, I share my experiences with traveling, reflections on spirituality, personal growth and insights on building an online business, all to make a difference. But my mission goes beyond that. You can learn more about what I do by visiting my homepage.

Maps of Sagada Details
As a natural attraction and mountain destination, it’s a mistake to visit Sagada with a fixed itinerary.
During my 3-day Sagada trip, I saw how unpredictable the weather can be… and that can ruin your experience if you don’t have a plan that adjusts to the conditions. I learned this the hard way when we reached Marlboro Hills and saw a wall of fog instead of the sea of clouds because of the rain. It was REALLY disappointing! </3
Still, Sagada was worth the trip, and going back is something I always look forward to! 100%
To prepare better, I made these maps of Sagada that shows its places of interest. With a few glances, I can see where to go if bad weather, closures, or other issues change my plans. Feel free to use it for your trip to Sagada! 🙂

Sagada Trip Planning Tips
When creating a flexible travel plan for your trip to Sagada, you need to think about several factors.
There’s the weather, of course, but you also have to think about
- the distance between attractions,
- travel time,
- opening hours,
- accessibility,
- and how long each activity takes.
The location of restaurants is also worth considering.
Because… it’s more than just about food! You can bring packed meals, but in Sagada, restaurants are often the only places where you can find clean and usable restrooms.
For ladies, that’s something important. I say this because when we traveled as a group in Sagada, it was a common request to our driver: “let us have a quick meal so we can also pee.” LOL.
It sounds funny, but you might find yourself in the same situation. So take note of that!
If you’re traveling as a group on a budget and don’t want to stop at a restaurant or café every time you need to eat, pee, or sip a drink, you can choose a homestay in a good location.
Pick accommodation that’s easy to reach and close to the activities and attractions you plan to visit. That way, if you need to rest or use the restroom, you won’t have to buy food or drinks just to do so.
Here’s another map showing the accommodations for group travelers in Sagada with a strategic location.
Having your own private vehicle when exploring Sagada is just as important as knowing where the different places of interest are.
I honestly can’t imagine how anyone, especially groups, can make the most of their day in Sagada without one… Some attractions are minutes to an hour apart if you walk or hike!
While hiking in Sagada is great because the nature helps clear your mind, walking isn’t the best way to get around. It’s better to save your energy for the actual adventures.
Before you bring a vehicle to Sagada or rent one, think about factors like leg room and head rest.
Here’s my guide for choosing a vehicle for your Sagada trip.
I have a few more mistakes to avoid and reminders to help make your Sagada trip enjoyable. Don’t miss them, I listed them here. One of these is the importance of packing waterproof gear. There’s no beach in Sagada, but you’ll need it for activities like spelunking in the caves.
If planning your trip feels overwhelming, you can check my perfect 3-day Sagada Itinerary, or ask a tour operator to arrange everything for you. Here’s my guide for choosing reliable travel services to Sagada.
