If there are people who can make the toughest ‘alone’ blogging days bearable, they’re creators like you.
So here’s my advice:
Join blogging groups, follow fellow bloggers, and connect with other web publishers. They are everywhere! On X or Twitter, Facebook Groups, YouTube, and Reddit…
But not LinkedIn. It’s great for networking with professionals. BUT not for creators, bloggers, or anyone building an online business. Believe me, I tried.
Hi reader! It’s Eljon, and before we continue, I want to welcome you to my blog, Explore to Thrive. Here, I share my experiences with traveling, reflections on spirituality, personal growth and insights on building an online business, all to make a difference. But my mission goes beyond that. You can learn more about what I do by visiting my homepage.

Anyway, it’s not hard to find connections. Start by searching for one creator or blogger. Follow or connect with the people in their network who look trustworthy.
Once you find a community, I promise you’ll never feel alone, even if these people are half the world away. To me, it’s their sympathy, support, and understanding that create the biggest impact.
Like, one time, my tweet racked up over a dozen likes and a few retweets, and I was thrilled!
I can’t remember exactly what the tweet was. I guess it was about me getting a thank-you email while Google categorized my site as unhelpful. But yeah, knowing that there are people who can relate and agree with me, that’s already something.
You know, when I started blogging, I didn’t think about joining a community right away. Turns out, that was a mistake.
It’s in these communities that you can learn from other people’s mistakes and avoid making the same ones. Particularly on Reddit, I like how open people are in sharing not only their problems. But also solutions from real experience.
It really is a community, though keeping a healthy skepticism is smart given Redditors’ anonymity.
What’s amazing about joining a community is how ‘creator’ energy can be so infectious.
There will be members who share their success stories. Others post impressive income reports. They can motivate you to work just as hard, knowing it’s possible to earn that much.
At first, it made me feel insecure and a little jealous.
I was only earning pennies, and they were already earning hundreds of dollars a day.
Their websites looked stunning. Mine? Never mind! LOL.
But when I tried to see it from another perspective, they only inspired me to create more. As I mentioned earlier, they prove that my goals are realistic.
What’s even better? Some bloggers even share their winning strategies for free. That’s something you must not miss!
Take NicheSiteLady, for example. She shared plenty of blogging tips from 2022 to 2024, and I learned a lot from her.
Keep in mind, though, not to take everything at face value, especially from random people.
Joining online communities is only one way to survive blogging. I have five tips, and you’ll love discovering the rest in my other post: “How I Survived Blogging Alone for Years and How You Can Too.”
Here’s my next tip: “How to Overcome Setbacks and Thrive While Blogging Alone: Remember Why You Started”
