About This Tourist Map of Panglao Island

Did you know we kicked off our five-day Central Visayas trip not in a major city like Cebu or Tagbilaran, but on a smaller island instead?

It is called Panglao, located just southwest of mainland Bohol. This is where our flight from Manila landed, and from there we hit the road to start exploring the province.

The thing is, since we planned to spend four days in Cebu and one day in Bohol, we never really got to explore Panglao. Our limited time in Bohol was only enough to cover the main bases of the province, which are all on the mainland.

We definitely enjoyed our day trip to Bohol, but our short stay only whet my appetite for what else we could discover on Panglao Island.

I caught a glimpse of the island from the plane, and those white shorelines framing the bright green land and blue sea made it clear as day that Panglao has incredible beaches.

There is a chance I will go back to Bohol, and Panglao is high on my list of places to explore. That is why I created this map of Panglao Island, so I can get the lay of the land at a glance when the time comes.

Beside the main sights, I included the top resorts, important landmarks, and services to make planning much faster.

Conclusion

Unlike mainland Bohol, Panglao Island is much smaller, so it naturally has fewer attractions. However, keep in mind that Panglao and Bohol are right next to each other and connected by two bridges.

Whether you stay in Panglao or Bohol, you can easily visit the attractions on both islands. Just remember to do a little research before heading out to explore.
